Reviews from satisfied customers like BSR echo this sentiment, touting Joe's for its "incredible service" and "perfect" food. It’s clear that attentive hospitality is one of Joe's core values.
Now, let's dive into the highlight of the menu—the legendary stone crabs. According to many patrons, including Steven Yee, the stone crab claws are nothing short of a culinary treasure. While they may come at a premium price, the experience is richly rewarding. And for those new to this delicacy, like Shayona B and her friends, it’s a must-try item that you’ll rave about long after your visit.
But the offerings don’t stop at stone crabs. Guests have enjoyed a variety of dishes such as the scrumptious paella, the tender grouper, and the rich bisque, all cooked and seasoned to perfection. Nancy Cavazos’s review highlights that even a quick bite here can lead to delightful surprises, like their stuffed tomatoes and oysters. There's something for everyone at Joe's, ensuring that no one leaves disappointed.
As for the ambiance, Joe's Stone Crab is known for its vibrant yet relaxed atmosphere, making it perfect for any occasion—whether you're celebrating a birthday, like Shayona B's group of friends, or simply indulging in a meal after a day at the beach. It's a place where sophistication meets comfort.
Lastly, don’t forget to save room for dessert. The key lime pie has become a crowd favorite, praised for its sweet tang and creamy texture, making it the perfect finish to your meal. Bryan Riley, a longtime patron, suggests ordering the fried chicken for the table—a testament to the restaurant's ability to surprise and delight beyond its seafood offerings.
In summary, Joe's Stone Crab is not just a meal; it’s an experience that embodies the essence of Miami Beach's culinary scene. With top-notch service, a vibrant atmosphere, and a menu filled with delicious seafood and more, it’s no wonder this establishment holds a special place in the hearts of its visitors. I really don’t understand how anyone could give this place less than 5 stars. It is absolutely perfect in every way. The food is delicious, the service is incredible and the atmosphere is amazing. We had a wonderful dinner on our first visit and cannot wait to return. The stone crabs are delicious. Better than Maine lobster in my opinion and everything else we ate was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Delicious paella, grouper and the bisque is wonderful. Our sever was great and the mango mojito is a must try.
LOVED IT. The friendliest service ever. We were a group of six girls on a birthday trip to Miami. Decided to stop here based on the reviews right after a boat day, so we weren’t too dressed up (linen pants, top, and slippers). Felt a bit nervous as the establishment seemed more sophisticated than we expected. However, the staff were SO friendly and made us feel so welcome. We loved everything we ordered! Everyone was raving about the Stuffies, and the Fried Chicken. The key lime pie was also delicious!! It was a great time and one of the highlights of our trip.
The restaurant is huge and it gets super busy! Our waiter was attentive, friendly and chatty, I love when a waiter can have a nice quick conversation! We came just for a small bite to eat and a bottle of wine. We had the famous crabs, oysters and their delicious stuffed tomatoes, we loved the few items we got. I would love to go back to have a full meal and everything sounded and looked delicious on the tables near us.
After going twice I can confidently say that its worth visiting as a tourist who has never had stone crab before. While the claws themselves are pricey, i did find all the other food options to be quite good though. I also found the service to be great as well. I recommend this place but would suggest getting the medium size claws instead of the jumbo.
Been enjoying Joe's for about 20 years now and never been let down, great experience every time. Thank you to all involved over the years. Here's a pro tip, order the fried chicken for the table I promise it's worth it.
Beautiful venue near South Point with black coat service. Stone crabs are delicious and comes with an aioli but you can ask for additional condiments including hot butter. I enjoyed the bisque as well. Would come back to try other dishes.
This is the place where you take your partner to. Where it feels like the client is still worth something. Where there is etiquette. Where there are certain rules to follow. Sadly it’s one of the last places in South Beach Miami keeping tradition! About the food? Fresh, tasty, fairly priced. Cheers to Joseph for the perfect service! Totally recommend!
What a wonderful experience this was coming to this restaurant. I wanted to come here for my birthday and I am so glad I chose this place! The lychee martini was delicious and the stone crabs were the best I’ve ever had. We also had the lobster Mac and cheese which was to die for. For dessert we had the key lime pie which was amazing as well. The service was also impeccable from start to finish. I can’t wait to come back here next time we are in Miami.
